The buildings are located in the province of La Pampa, central Argentina, in a temperate climate; warm towards the NE and cold in the Centre, SE and SW, receiving high solar radiation in the pre-Andes region to the West. Glazing for solar collection in the principal functional areas facing to the North oscillates between 11 and 17% of the useful areas. All the studied buildings are massive, with exception of an Auditorium.\u00a0 The main thermal transmittance of the envelope is 0.45 W\/m2\u00baC.
